What is CloudPort?

5GN CloudPort provides a flexible and easy way to create network connections into multiple private and public cloud environments.

By utilizing 5GN’s state-of-the-art Ethernet fabric network, CloudPort enables the creation of private point-to-point connectivity (Ethernet Virtual Connection) between a customer connected on any of 5GN’s POPs and a host of DCs, 5GN private cloud, multiple public clouds and other services.

5GN has deployed global network infrastructure with an ever-increasing list of on-net data centres and POPs.

Our infrastructure is located in major Australian metropolitan areas and extends to Singapore, New Zealand, Japan and the United States.

Once connected to this network, a customer can create virtual network connections to any POP and its connected services.

5GN CloudPort Services are transparent Layer 2 services offering:

  • Ethernet virtual circuit (EVC) between two active CloudPorts
  • Flexible point to point connectivity
  • Metro, National and International coverage
  • Available from 100Mbps to 10Gbps

IP Transit

  • Add IP Transit (Internet) to your CloudPort
  • Available from 100Mbps to 10Gbps
  • 1:1, 1:2 or 1:4 burst ratio
  • 12/24 months contract term

Fibre

  • 5GN Fibre connectivity between multiple buildings and Data Centre
  • Available as 1Gbps Internet access or
  • Ethernet (CloudPort required)
  • 36 to 60 months contract term
